History has never been what it seems…
Twelve months after his change, Alec MacAidan is still getting used to his vampire talents. Being the most powerful vampire in existence is not only demanding, it’s also draining. When most vampires would give anything to have more than one supernatural power, all Alec really wants is peace and quiet, and some alone time with Cronin.
When Alec experiences something outside his realm of talents, they learn of an external force who need Alec and his powers to open the gates of Hell. And Alec’s view on all things weird, gets a whole lot weirder.
Zoanthropians, or Zoan as they call themselves, are the half-lycan, half-dragon creatures, which have slipped through time and reality, unknown by man and vampire. Or have they?
With an uncanny resemblance to gargoyles, this new quest leads Alec and Cronin, and their band of friends to Paris, Rome and Moscow where they learn that gargoyles aren’t just statues on walls.
In the underground pits beneath churches all over the world, Alec learns of the Key’s true destiny, and it just might take every talent he has, and some help from the dead, to get them all out alive.
